Origins Skincare Review
I’m loyal to a fault. When I find something that works, I use it forever. So when my FAVORITE night cream from Origins ran out I marched myself to Sephora to pick up a new jar. I ended up picking up the bedtime bests boxset which included a large jar of my favorite cream and a handful of other sample sized products. Perfect way to test out new products without fully committing! Coincidentally, Origins kindly sent over a sample set of some for me to try as well. Needless to say I’ve accumulated a little haul of some killer Origins products. I’ve added a lot of these into my daily skincare regime something that rarely happens. So I thought I’d share my favorites!
High Potency Night A Mins // This is my holy grail night cream! I’ve been wearing it religiously every night for over five years! I discovered it one winter when my skin was so dry it was pealing. It did the trick and I’ve never looked back. It’s rich a creamy and when I wake up in the morning my skin is soft, moisturized and, looks amazing. They also have an oil free version, but since my skin dries out so quickly I prefer the one with the oil.
Skin Retexturizing Mask with Rose Clay // If you’ve read any of my other beauty reviews you know how much I love anything with rose in it. Something about the scent just lifts my skin’s spirits. I love how this mask as exfoliating beads in it so, when I wash it off it acts as a gentle exfoliator. This mask leaves my skin looking brighter, softer and, more alive.
Super Spot Remover Acne Gel // I don’t break out too often (known on wood). But when I do, get a pimple it stays forever! I’ve tried all the different products prescription and otherwise to erase my pimple woes. This spot remover is AMAZING! Literally put it on at night and woke up the next day with a clear face. It literally zapped my zit overnight. Perfect for those pesky time of the month pimples. Seriously. I think this was the best thing I bought.
A Perfect World Age Defense Eye Cream with White Tea // While I’m still in my early twentys, I’ve found there to be fine lines under my eyes more often than not #thanksgradschool. I’ve learned through my dermatologist that it’s never too early to start wearing anti aging products the most important one being eye creams. This is because the skin around your eyes is the thinnest and most sensitive to wrinkles. The white tea in this eye cream does exactly that, keeping my under eyes looking bright and young.
Checks and Balances Frothy Face Wash // This cleanser is best for people with combination skin, but I find that it works great with all skin types. It’s gentle on my super sensitive skin going on creamy and foams up as I lather. It leaves my skin feeling super clean without making it tight or dried out.
GinZing Refreshing Eye Cream // This eye cream is amazing! The citrus smell wakes me up like nothing before! It's gentle on my under eyes and keeps them moisturized for the entire day. I only ever wore eye cream before bed, but after trying this I've added eye cream to my day and night routine permanently.
